Our Why
We believe in and invest in future generations as our future leaders. It is our young people who hold the spirit, creativity and energy to pave new paths, invent new systems and innovate us towards an aware, mentally healthy and love-based society.
Globally, 1 in 7 young people aged 4–17 years experience a mental health condition in any given year. This means a preventative and proactive approach to support the mental health of our young people is key. Mindfulness and meditation are scientifically proven to reduce depression, anxiety and suicide, as well as increase awareness, social skills, sleep and a sense of belonging. You can learn more about mindfulness here.

In 2022, Love Out Loud Foundation was rebranded and relaunched to sit alongside the for-profit movement Love Out Loud, which has been led by Nicole for 10+ years. Love Out Loud has impacted 1 million people globally through programs, meditations and retreats. You can learn more about Nicole and the Love Out Loud movement here.
Why Love & Mindfulness
Love is a brave, wild, messy, sometimes scary, sometimes scarce, and beautiful part of life. As a Foundation we are bold in our commitment to love, because we know that the presence of love amplifies connection, creativity, belonging and growth. We also know (from science) that safe, stable and kind environments and relationships are crucial to the psychological and social development of young people. Mindfulness and awareness practices are evidence-based ways to not only cultivate love, but also compassion, connection, inner-safety and nervous system regulation. Love is the most powerful and potent gift that adults, communities and systems can give to our next generation; our future leaders. Now that’s something worth investing in.
Our Board Members
